When you travel to Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, it is a must to visit this idyllic small island. Everyone wants to go there, but the number of people that can visit the islet is limited and it requires special authorisation. Find out now how to get the permit to visit Lobos easily… and your ferry tickets!
Permit to visit Lobos: time slots
If you want to go on a trip to Lobos Island, a special authorisation is required. The access to the island is limited to up to 400 visitors per day, so there are two time slots (200 people in the morning and 200 in the afternoon), which means it’s quite common to find them sold out:
- First time slot: from 10 am to 2 pm.
- Second time slot: from 2 pm to 6 pm.
Which slot is better? It depends on your plan. However, if you plan to go walking around the islet I highly recommend you to choose the first one to avoid the hottest sunny hours.
Get Permit to Lobos and Ferry
The quickest and most simple way to get your authorisation is booking Ferry + Permit together. There are great advantages: it’s time-saving, you make sure you have a place on the boat at rush hours, you can book your permit as soon as you want and you cand add snorkelling experience, which is a must in the islet!
During the high season in winter and summer months, Easter or even at weekends, both authorisations and boat tickets usually get sold out quickly… and you won’t want to miss the paradise islet.
