This Canary Island is a paradise full of unspoilt beaches. White sand, turquoise waters, a coast with no hotels and its calm surroundings make this island a unique destination for your holidays. In this guide you’ll find the Best Beaches in La Graciosa from north to south.
Best Beaches in La Graciosa
These are the best places to go for a swim within this little piece of paradise:
Caleta del Sebo Beach
Right beside the port of the capital city, you’ll find the beach Caleta de Sebo. This small sandy beach is around 100 m long and it is the only beach in the centre of the capital. The waters are so calm because it is protected by the dock, so it is a wonderful place to spend the day with your kids.
Another advantage is that it’s the only beach with a seaside promenade full of restaurants and shops nearby, the rest of them are unspoilt and isolated!

La Laja Beach
Only a few minutes away from Caleta de Sebo going south, you can find this fantastic golden sand beach that ends in El Salado. Without a doubt, it’s quite an ideal place to sunbathe and disconnect with views over the amazing cliffs Risco de Famara.

La Cocina – Yellow Mountain Beach
Playa de La Cocina is very close to Playa de La Francesa but hidden at the foot of Montaña Amarilla. This tiny white sand beach is just 100m long. It’s the spot to enjoy these calm waters with an emerald green colour.
Want to have breathtaking views over the island? Walk up to the top of the mountain and bring your camera with you. You’ll see these perfectly well from there: the part of the Atlantic Ocean that separates Lanzarote from La Graciosa called ‘El Rio’, the cliffs of Famara and the whole island of La Graciosa.

La Francesa Beach
Along with Las Conchas Beach in the north of the island, it’s considered as the best beach in La Graciosa. Almost 500 metres of white sand and calm waters where to swim. The colours are just amazing! It’s the perfect beach if you’re travelling with children and for snorkelling and diving thanks to its clean and clear waters.
In addition, especially in summer, it’s very common to see boats sailing along the coast and people enjoying themselves with water activities like kayaking or stand-up paddling.

El Salado Beach
Between sand dunes and with wonderful views over the cliffs Risco de Famara you’ll find El Salado. This bay is famous for its camping site, as it is the only place where you can go camping in La Graciosa. It is almost 2 km long where to enjoy a lovely beach day. Yep! It’s the largest beach on the island.
Thanks to its calm waters, it’s perfect for a family day. Don’t forget the snorkelling equipment!

Ambar – Lambra Beach
Very close to the natural stone arches in Los Caletones, you’ll find Playa del Ambar. Also known as ‘Playa de Lambra’, this golden sand beach and volcanic rocks are more than half a kilometre long.
It is one of the less visited beaches, so if you are looking for a little place to be on your own during the high season, this is a good option for you. Bear in mind that the waters here are not so calm and the sea current could be rough. In the background, you will wonderful views over Alegranza.

Pedro Barba Beach
This is a small sandy beach near a little dock where you can go for a dip in this cosy village. The waters are completely calm, so it’s a good option if you’re travelling with children. Another advantage is that you can barely see anybody here, except in the summer months, when the apartments nearby are fully booked.

Las Conchas Beach
Although it’s quite difficult to choose, Las Conchas is considered the best beach in La Graciosa. Located an hour away from Caleta de Sebo, you will certainly fall in love with this 600-metre-long beach with white sand and turquoise waters.
The views are even more spectacular as you can also see two islets in the background: Montaña Clara and Alegranza. To complete the landscape you can find the impressive red colour of Bermeja Mountain on one side. It’s very popular to walk up this 157-metre-high mountain and enjoy the breathtaking views. You can’t miss it!

Now you know where to find a list of the best beaches in La Graciosa. As you can see, the island is quite a paradisiacal destination where to disconnect beside the Atlantic Ocean. What’s more, you have other places to enjoy the sea like the beaches Los Conejos or Caleta de Arriba. Your holidays, your choice!
