Camping in La Graciosa: El Salado
There’s only one place for camping in La Graciosa: El Salado. It’s in the south of the island, 15 minutes away from Caleta del Sebo Port on foot. Remember that the entire island is a Natural Park, so if you don’t get the required permit, you’ll be fined.

- There are 50 pitches for ten people each.
 - You can only camp in tents.
 - It offers toilet and shower facilities.
 - You can stay for up to 7 days.
 - There’s no barbecue area or kitchen. Fire is forbidden, including gas bottles and stoves.
 
How to request for permit to go camping in La Graciosa
The procedure to ask for authorisation to go camping in La Graciosa is easy and free. You can do it online by following these simple steps:
- Enter the website of the Network of National Parks responsible for bookings. Download the PDF to read all the information about the campsite.
 - Click on ‘Make your reservation’.
 - Select the date of your entry, number of nights and people. Reservations can be made two months in advance. Once selected, click on ‘NEXT STEP ‘next step’.
 - Complete your personal data (and your companions’) and choose the pitch number.
 - Read and accept the rules.
 - Done! The system will generate a reservation number, which you should keep.
 - Book your ferry tickets before they are sold out.
 
Should you need to cancel, you’ll be able to do so with the reservation number. Please, by cancelling, you are giving other people the opportunity to use your pitch.

- Book your ferry to La Graciosa in advance. At times it’s crowded, especially in the high season.
 - Take your tent and sleeping bag.
 - Bring water and some no-cook meals. There are shops, supermarkets and restaurants only in Caleta del Sebo.
 - Garbage bags for your rubbish. Keep the area as clean as possible!
 - Sunscreen and comfortable clothes for hiking around the island.
 - Snorkelling equipment.
